Originally from Southern California, Alyssa attended Mount Holyoke College, where she majored in International Relations and interned in the admissions office. Her extracurricular college experiences turned out to be as invaluable as her academic ones. She studied abroad and conducted independent research in Latin America, volunteered with the American Red Cross in NYC after 9/11, and had the best impromptu dance parties and late-night conversations with dorm mates.

Alyssa's passion for knowledge, educational equity, and pushing herself and others to maximize their potential built her two decades of college advising and admissions experience. Having been on the receiving and sending ends of thousands of applications and essays, she takes great joy in guiding students as they prepare for admission and success at their best-fit colleges and universities. She has supported students as an admissions counselor in various contexts and on the other side of the desk at Cornell University, where she oversaw recruitment efforts in two major U.S. regions and directed Cornell’s nationwide diversity outreach efforts.

Always a learner, Alyssa earned a graduate degree in Enrollment Management Policy from the University of Southern California. Alyssa is also a wife and mom who enjoys traveling like a local, jamming out to countless music genres, gardening, being involved in her local church and city, learning languages, and hanging out seaside and in other outdoor areas with her family.
